Exhibition Seoul: Towards a Meta City / Recent Urban Projects in Seoul, at Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin, features DPA project 104 Village from August 30th to October 9th.
Examples of densification, periphery, reuse, housing and the modernisation of entire city quarters in connection with monument conservation and governance are suggested solutions for the metropolis with 25 million inhabitants that are shown in this exhibition at an accessible scale, bringing us closer to them. In particular the presented projects appear to us to be exemplary in the approach of developing a humane city and letting it grow without abandoning its cultural values, as well as preparing for the ecological and economical challenges of the future.
