The historic headquarters of the Venice Biennale, Ca 'Giustinian, will host the two days dedicated to the Architect's Day, organized by the National Council of Architects with the network of Territorial Orders, which will focus this year on the theme "One Community for Architecture »
The jury will award the prize of "italian Architect" and the "Young talents of Italian Architecture 2018" prize, chosen among more than 400 candidates. This jury will be chaired by Dominique Perrault and composed of Ilaria Marelli, architect and designer; Emilio Caravettu, laureate of the "Italian architect" prize 2017; Elisabetta Gabrielli, winner of the "Young talents of Italian architecture" prize 2017; Alessandra Ferrari, Councilor of the National Council of Architects and Conservatories; Paolo Raffetto, president of the order of architects of the province of Genoa.
The announcement of the winners will take place on November 16 at the Festa dell'Architetto, whose program includes, after the greetings of Paolo Baratta, president of the Venice Biennal, the title of "honorary architect" of the previous edition of the festival. Giuseppe Cappochin, President of PPC Architects, will present a first part devoted to the theme "A communicty for architecture" in which the philosopher Raffaele Milani and Dominique Perrault, moderated by Alessandra Ferrari, will take part.
In second half of the afternoon starting at 5.15 pm, the awards ceremony will be held with an introduction by the jury and the presentation of the winning and mentioned projects.
Satudray, November 17 will be the lectio magistralis entitled "Groundscape" by the president of the hury, Dominique Perrault.
