The Société du Grand Paris and Dominique Perrault present an immersive exhibition dedicated to the new metro and its urban, architectural and environmental ambition.
This exhibition takes the form of a pavilion inside which a film retracing this urban adventure is shown: the history of the Paris metro, the construction sites, the tunnels, the new stations and the trains are shown in 360 degrees.
The exhibition is designed to promote the Greater Paris project, which is both a showcase for French and European expertise in architecture, mobility, urban planning and culture, and a symbol of the transformations underway in major metropolises. Around the pavilion, the exhibition will present historical maps of Greater Paris and the neighborhoods of the 68 future stations.
It will detail the urban changes and ecological opportunities generated by the metro, such as the reclamation of soil excavated during the digging of the tunnels, and the architectural projects of the stations will be discovered through a selection of models and interviews with the project designers.
From May 14 to July 13, 2022 - From noon to 7 pm Wednesday to Friday and from 10 am to 7 pm on weekends.
