Elegant and compact, the Grand Théâtre d’Albi is a discreet yet vibrant presence, nestled in the heart of the city’s historic district.
PROGRAM
The Grand Théâtre-Scène nationale d’Albi-Tarn comprises a large 900-seat auditorium, a 250-seat experimental theater, a lower foyer and an upper foyer, as well as administrative and logistical spaces and an independent panoramic restaurant. The Grand Théâtre is complemented by a cinema complex comprising eight theaters located in a 7,800 m² infrastructure. The urban development of the Théâtre, Athanor, and Lapérouse squares complements the building’s surroundings, incorporating a work by artist Jeppe Hein.
