DESCRIPTION
But his position seemed the most appropriate. As the storyteller Charles Perrault had spent a long time living on the banks of the Loire, the idea was to re-enchant the place, to give it a wonderful appearance, in the literary sense, by draping one of his subjects in a dress the color of time: the Tree King was born. Like the famous dresses of the Medici, strips of golden metallic fabric were attached to the crown, flaring out along the trunk and extending to the ground in a carpet. Thus, the path of the dress highlights the vital relationship between the underground, the roots, everything that cannot be seen, and the aerial, the crown and the treetop: the garment of light reminds us that the tree is a body, a world where the invisible plays a guiding role.
