Thierry Laroue-Pont, CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate, and Dominique Perrault, architect, jointly presented the Métal 57 project to the press on Thursday April 7th.

Located in the heart of the Trapèze district in Boulogne-Billancourt (92), Métal 57 is the result of the restructuring and extension of the iconic Renault workshop "57 Métal". The conversion project, entrusted to architect Dominique Perrault, is a 37,000 square meter polymorphous space that prefigures a new approach to commercial real estate. It favors mixed uses, environmental quality and the protection of biodiversity, and also responds to urban issues by opening up to the city.

"The integration of a real estate project of this scale is no longer limited to aspects of architectural context and urban heritage. This notion has expanded to include a range of services in a mix of functions. Metal 57 is an illustration of this. The aim here was to be in phase with the Trapeze district, whose soul and population have changed profoundly. The site has opened up to the city thanks to a varied program that makes it possible to rethink the office building, taking into account the new challenges and realities accentuated by the pandemic " Dominique Perrault.
