Located between the first and second sectors of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée, the Cité Descartes was conceived and designed as a prestigious technology hub. Home to renowned public organizations and private companies, it offers them a green space rich in history and dense woodlands.
PROGRAMM
The ESIEE building houses the institution’s main functional entities, including the library, lecture halls, and dining area, arranged longitudinally along an interior street. This central gallery, with a ceiling height of approximately 10 meters, is the structuring element of the project. It facilitates internal circulation while serving as a public communal space.
