PROGRAM
Designed by architect Claude Vasconi (1940-2009) and completed in 1984, Métal 57 housed the Renault factory workshops. The transformation of the hall and its sheds, framing a new 8-story prism, has created a complex suited to today’s tertiary uses, with offices, catering services, auditoriums, reception areas, and shared landscaped spaces. The complex, which was previously closed in on itself, now opens onto the city, thanks in particular to an interior street that runs through it and is accessible to the public.
