DESCRIPTION
Assertive, pure, and unadorned, the cover’s structure, the result of precise engineering, consists of a delicate assembly of steel elements suspended above the original concrete court. Equipped with a movable section, it allows the lightweight, pleated roof to be deployed elegantly and effortlessly. As soon as it is activated, the show begins.

Attached to the longitudinal sides of the metal structure, large metal fabric canopies create a link between the existing and the new, between the heaviness of the concrete and the lightness of the roof, between the flat lines and the curves of the stands. Through its design, this architecture seeks to reflect the avant-garde and daring character of Suzanne Lenglen, a woman who, nearly a century ago, made history with her unique temperament.
