Twin Peaks is a landscape architecture, a vertical echo of the mountain lines appearing in the background of the city of Seoul. Anchored in the ground by a porous base that can be crossed, the building opens onto the public space of the street before soaring skyward.

DESCRIPTION
Its twin peaks fan out along a diagonal axis that defies the city’s grid pattern. This calculated twist captures light and views while minimizing the shadow cast on neighboring buildings.

The sloping facades create a cascade of terraces that benefit each of the programs equally. With its staircase lines reminiscent of the elegance of New York’s Chrysler Building in a baroque gesture, Twin Peaks becomes a geographical landmark on the south bank of Seoul.
