Formally, the project consists of a vast sheet structure, whose tectonic and undulating movement adapts to the natural topography of the terrain. The complex is designed on three levels: the basement for technical equipment, the ground floor for traffic flow, and the first floor for commercial activities. Its layout is based on the concept of a “continuous surface” that promotes open spaces, permeability with the outdoor landscape, the absence of breaks between levels, and fluid movement. The folds in the roof, which express this idea of continuity and recall the lightness of a simple shelter, mark the main entrances to the station. The roof is made up of solar panels and punctuated with skylights that promote natural lighting inside the building.
