DESCRIPTION
The master plan for the 2030 World Expo draws on the artificial port lands, previously reserved for container storage, to create a new part of the city. The pavilions, with their free and organic shapes, are arranged in a rigorous composition, giving pride of place to nature: parks, squares, and gardens occupy a large part of the site. Overlooking the bay and the city, these platforms are uniquely extroverted. Ultimately, this area reclaimed by the World Expo is set to become a lively district of Busan, continuing the momentum of transformation initiated by the event.
