DESCRIPTION
Instead, each urban situation receives a specific response: in the north, the station stands out as a major iconic feature and a square that opens onto new urban developments; in the south, towards the existing city, the Corrales-Molezún station is preserved and enhanced as a center of mobility and logistics around a large square; to the west, the tertiary development is centered around the new square and transport hub, with a permeable commercial podium connecting the station to the new C/Agustín de Foxá, punctuated by a landmark tower; to the east, the new Adif offices and the planned tertiary development are less dense, in harmony with the existing environment. This adaptive approach responds to the heterogeneity of the site, generating a series of spaces with their own characteristics and establishing a dialogue between urban spaces, public places, and the interiors of the station. The controlled diversity of the spaces and the interactions between them give the whole coherence, strength, and identity.
