DESCRIPTION
Taking the form of a vast French-style park, the building unfolds across the site through an intertwining of terraces and patios, connected by a network of intersecting pathways. On the border between wild forest and urban fabric, this large university “village” blurs the boundaries between inside and outside, between study space and living space. People move around it as they would in a park, relax there as they would in a refuge, and learn there as they would in an agora. The whole forms a lived-in map, a place in harmony with the landscape, to the point of dissolving into the surrounding nature, a radical way of thinking about a campus: inhabiting nature and letting it inhabit the city.
