DESCRIPTION
The circular roof of the velodrome, which is accessible and covered with trees and shrubs, slopes down to become a high point in the landscape, offering a panoramic view of the Olympic complex and the city of London. Beneath this natural extension of the topography, a sculpted crater houses the cycling track and stands. Designed as a fluid experience, the venue can be enjoyed both above and below ground, breaking down any barriers between indoors and outdoors.
