DESCRIPTION
With soil conservation in mind, the project focuses on high density and is firmly established on the new central square opposite the train station. Its eight-story mixed-use base blends in with the city’s horizontal layout and connects directly to the station’s large gallery. The vertical section, which houses offices and coworking spaces, becomes a metropolitan landmark. Its black faceted facades, inspired by the region’s volcanic rocks, particularly obsidian, capture light from all angles, emphasizing the site’s geographical identity.
