Progress of the Vulvano construction site

With construction having begun in October 2016, the assembly of the Vulcano project’s structure is progressing rapidly: the main structures of the three towers are slated for completion by October 2017.

The project’s surface area is estimated at 42 000m2, made up of three distinct programs : from the ground level to the 5th floor, shops and offices will occupy 1000m2 and will share those levels with a hotel occupying 16,000m2. From the 5th to the 25th floor, the remaining 25,000m2 will be dedicated to housing.
The three towers of the Vulcano project are advancing 1 floor every 10 days: already 14 of the 25 floors of each tower are already built, and will reach an overall height of 80 meters.
Other aspects of the project are advancing rapidly along with the main structure: the metallic facades at the ground level are already mounted, and the mixed wood and metal windows for the housing levels of the three towers will soon follow as the concrete construction progresses. In parallel, the buildings façades, composed of black enameled glass and black coated louvers measuring 43m x 25m, have been prototyped.
